Ship Tour - Celebrity Millennium

Image
While repositioning for the summer season in Alaska, the Celerity Millennium stopped in Seattle for a day. While the ship was docked at pier 66 (downtown Seattle), we were able to tour the ship. Since our last visit to the Millennium was more than five years ago, we wanted to see the condition of the ship. It was launched in 2000 and can carry 2034 passengers. Ship description We found the ship in excellent shape. It was refurbished last year, but does not have all the "Solstice" upgrades that Celebrity is making to the Millennium class ships. These upgrades are planned for 2012. After the tour, we had an excellent lunch aboard the ship. We have always enjoyed our time on a Celebrity ship. In February, we will be onboard the Millennium for a 10 day cruise in the Southern Caribbean. We are looking forward to that cruise. We are going with a group of friends -- check out our trip -- we love San Juan!  Drop us an email message if you want more information: travel@attheta....

The dining room food was also always fantastic. • Entertainment: it was good - but REALLY cheesy. Perfect for families. There were a few comedians that were very funny - definitely a highlight. (Better for young adults like us) • Excursions: Zip Lining in Puerto Vallarta was so much fun! The guides were absolutely hilarious and made the whole experience. Stone Island in Mazatlan was great. Again - a great guide and the beach was beautiful. We had our lunch personally delivered to us on the beach and although snorkeling was cancelled due to murky water - boogie boarding was a blast! In Cabo we took a water taxi to Lovers’ Beach to snorkel. It was gorgeo...
